SneakPeek® Early Gender Test
Use
The SneakPeek Early Gender Test is intended to determine fetal sex during early pregnancy by analyzing cell-free fetal DNA in a pregnant individual’s blood. The test is designed for use as early as six weeks of gestation and provides a non-invasive option for individuals seeking early insight into fetal sex prior to ultrasound-based determination. SneakPeek is not intended for diagnosis, medical decision-making, or assessment of fetal health, and results are provided for informational purposes only.
Special Instructions
The test is ordered directly by the consumer and requires collection of a maternal blood sample using a provided collection kit. Collection instructions must be followed carefully to reduce the risk of sample contamination. Samples are returned to the laboratory according to the kit instructions for analysis. Users are advised to review all collection guidance prior to sample submission to ensure accurate results.
Limitations
The SneakPeek test determines fetal sex based on detection of Y-chromosome DNA and may be affected by sample contamination, insufficient fetal DNA, or improper collection. Results may be inaccurate if male DNA contamination occurs during sample collection or handling. The test does not assess fetal health, genetic abnormalities, or pregnancy viability. Results are not intended to replace clinical evaluation or diagnostic testing, and confirmation by ultrasound or clinical methods is recommended.
