This test measures IgG antibody levels specific to goose feather proteins. It assists clinicians in evaluating immune response to feather exposure; however, the presence of IgG does not necessarily indicate clinical allergy and must be interpreted in clinical context.

Results do not correlate directly with allergic pathology; IgG sensitization may reflect exposure rather than true allergy. Clinical correlation is essential; it may not correlate with skin testing or symptomatic reactivity.
