Use

This assay is used to detect allergen‑specific IgE antibodies to the Shagbark Hickory (Carya ovata) allergen in patient serum. Presence of elevated specific IgE suggests sensitization and may assist clinicians in diagnosing potential allergic reactions to this tree pollen.
