Limitations
The test is limited to the evaluation of IgE antibodies specific to Pecan and Hickory. It does not assess other types of IgE or IgG mediated allergies. Cross-reactivity with other allergens may lead to false-positive results. Conditions such as non-IgE mediated allergic reactions or other underlying conditions that cause increased total IgE levels are not specifically diagnosed by this test.
