Use
Human Platelet Antigen (HPA)‑1 polymorphism can lead to alloimmunization that clinically can manifest as neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia or post‑transfusion thrombocytopenia purpura. HPA‑1 genotyping allows screening for potential neonatal immunization in pregnancy.
