HLA DPA1 High Resolution
Use
DPA1 antigens may be correlated with certain disease states or other clinical conditions. Also used for screening of transplant candidates and potential donors, transfusion of specifically compatible blood products, among others. This test is for single locus typing at high resolution.

Indicate in clinical information which antigen(s) is of interest. For questions, contact HLA customer service at 800-533-1037 for assistance in selecting the proper HLA test for the patient.
Limitations
The test results are based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), which may require additional time for confirmatory or reflex tests if necessary. There are potential limitations related to specimen quality, such as hemolysis or clotting, and wrong specimen containers, which may require resubmission of samples.
