Use
The Lipoprotein Fractionation, NMR test is used to help assess the risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in patients with intermediate or high risk based on traditional or emerging risk factors, and to assess therapeutic response in patients undergoing lipid‑lowering therapy. The lipid panel is used to determine an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular disease and to monitor the efficacy of therapy or lifestyle changes.

Collection Instructions
Gently invert draw tube 5X (do not shake). Let blood clot for 30‑60 minutes at room temperature. Centrifuge for 10 minutes. Aliquot top layer into transport tube.
