Delta/notch‑like epidermal growth factor‑related receptor (DNER) is a central nervous system‑specific ligand for the Notch receptors expressed by cerebellar Purkinje neurons, essential for the normal development of Purkinje cells and Bergmann glia. DNER is the target of PCA‑Tr antibodies associated with paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration (PCD) in patients with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
