This technical component test performs immunohistochemical (IHC) staining for CD3 on tissue or cell block specimens, useful in diagnostic immunohistochemistry to identify T‑cell lineage in histopathologic samples. It is performed as a stain-and-return service in a laboratory setting.

Limitations
This assay is a technical, stain-and-return service only; it does not include interpretive services. Specimens that are depleted or non-representative will be rejected. Frozen specimens are unacceptable. Slides should not be oven baked if precut. Clinical interpretation must be performed elsewhere.
