Use
CD43, also known as leukosialin, is a protein expressed on the surface of various blood cells and is involved in modulating cell adhesion and immune response. The CD43, L60 (Leu 22) by Immunohistochemistry test is used to identify the presence and distribution of CD43 in tissue samples. It has applications in diagnosing hematopoietic neoplasms and distinguishing between different types of lymphomas.
Special Instructions
Submit electronic request for immunohistochemistry analysis. If electronic ordering is unavailable, use the ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Form with an ARUP client number. Ensure that specimens are transported using ARUP specified containers to maintain integrity.
