CD43, IHC with Interpretation
Use
CD43 is a cluster of differentiation antigen expressed on T lymphocytes, myeloid cells (including granulocytes and precursors, monocytes, macrophages, histiocytes), plasma cells, and megakaryocytes; immunohistochemical evaluation with interpretation helps in characterizing hematopoietic and related cell types.
Special Instructions
Interpretation provided by pathologist as part of the test (“with Interpretation”).
Limitations
Use of fixatives other than 10% formalin may compromise staining quality. FFPE slide age, improper fixation or handling can affect immunoreactivity; charged slide storage and surface chemistry are important for consistent staining.
