Confirmation/identification of leukemia/lymphoma-related alterations; leukemia/lymphoma monitoring of residual disease.
Special Instructions
Include pertinent clinical diagnosis and previous cytogenetic studies on the test request form. Utilize sterile technique and Labcorp transport kits when possible.
Limitations
Molecular mutations or chromosomal alterations not targeted by the probe included in this profile will not be detected. FISH results should be interpreted within the context of a full hematopathology evaluation. Chromosome analysis should be considered to identify clonal alterations not targeted by the FISH probes ordered.
