Immunoglobulin G, Subclass 1
Also known as: IgG Subclass 1, IgG1
Use
Evaluate T-cell dependent response in patients with poor response to viral or bacterial antigens, immunodeficiency syndromes. See Immunoglobulin G, Subclasses (1-4) [209601].
Special Instructions
Ensure to state the patient's age on the test request form, as age-related reference ranges are important for result interpretation.
Limitations
This test is not suitable for samples containing rheumatoid factor, paraproteins, or other circulating immune complexes (CICs) due to unpredictable nonspecific light scatter. It is also unsuitable for lipemic or hemolyzed samples for the same reason. Results should not be used in assessing atopy in allergic patients.
