Immunoglobulin G, Subclasses (1-4)
Also known as: IgG Subclasses, IgG1,2,3,4
Use
Study patients with recurrent bacterial infections or allergy
Special Instructions
State the patient's age on the test request form. This is essential for accurate interpretation of results based on age-related reference intervals.
Limitations
The procedure is not suitable for measuring samples containing rheumatoid factor, paraproteins, other circulating immune complexes, or lipemic or hemolyzed samples due to unpredictable nonspecific light scatter. The results of measuring IgG subclasses should not be used to assess atopy in allergic patients.
