Limitations
If the organism cannot be identified by the original method, additional charges will be added for each organism: CPT 87153 (AFB sequencing). If Mycobacterium tuberculosis is isolated for the first time or after three months, susceptibilities are performed per drug at additional charge CPT 87190 per drug. No further limitations are specified.
