Use
Antibodies to Scl‑70 (topoisomerase I) are a specific marker for systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), particularly associated with the diffuse form, and are found in approximately 20%–60% of patients, most often around 40% of Progressive Systemic Sclerosis (PSS) cases. Their presence is considered diagnostic in the appropriate clinical context.
