Sjogren’s Antibodies (SS‑A, SS‑B)
Also known as: SS-A & SS-B
Use
Sjögren’s Antibodies (SS‑A and SS‑B) are associated with Sjögren’s Syndrome. The presence of both antibodies (SS‑A and SS‑B) strengthen the diagnosis of Sjögren’s Syndrome and conveys prognostic information. SS‑B antibody is detected in approximately 15% of patients with Sjögren’s Syndrome and is present only if SS‑A is also detected.([clevelandheartlab.com](https://www.clevelandheartlab.com/tests/sjogrens-antibodies-ss-a-ss-b/?utm_source=openai))
