Use
The Anti-Mullerian Hormone with Menopausal Status (MenoCheck) test is used to aid in determining menopausal status in individuals assigned female at birth, beginning at age 42. This clinical test is FDA cleared for use in individuals aged 42 to 62 years to evaluate menopausal status. It should be used in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory findings and is not intended for assessing fertility status or monitoring ovarian response for fertility treatments.
Special Instructions
This test is intended for individuals aged 42-62 years. The test results should be interpreted alongside other clinical and laboratory findings. The use of this test is not recommended for evaluating fertility or ovarian function in menstruating individuals.
Limitations
MenoCheck should not be used to evaluate fertility status or to predict or monitor ovarian response in individuals undergoing or planning fertility treatments. The reference intervals vary depending on age, and interpreting results requires careful consideration of the individual's entire clinical picture, including any concurrent conditions or treatments.
