Allergy Panel, Region 7, Trees
Also known as: ImmunoCAP®
Use
This panel tests for specific IgE antibodies to tree pollen allergens commonly associated with allergies in the upper Mid‑West region (Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin). Allergen‑specific serum IgE testing offers a means to assess sensitization comparable to skin testing but with reduced patient risk. A positive result indicates sensitization, although many sensitized individuals may remain asymptomatic; definitive diagnosis of allergy requires clinical correlation by a qualified provider.

Limitations
A positive test result only indicates sensitization and does not confirm clinical allergy. Many sensitized individuals do not experience symptoms upon exposure. Diagnosis should be made by a medical provider based on comprehensive clinical evaluation.
