Use

This test is used for the diagnosis and prognosis of histoplasma infections. Titers ≥1:32 are highly suggestive of H. capsulatum infection. The complement fixation test frequently yields positive results in chronic active pulmonary histoplasmosis compared to primary active pulmonary disease.
