Rabbit Epithelia (e82) IgE
Also known as: ImmunoCAP®
Use
This allergen‑specific IgE antibody test quantifies an individual’s IgE response to rabbit epithelia. It is an in vitro quantitative assay intended to be used alongside other clinical information to assist in the diagnosis of allergic diseases. It may be preferred when skin testing is contraindicated—for example, widespread skin disease, recent antihistamine use, uncooperative patients, or risk of serious allergic reaction. A definitive allergy diagnosis should be based on multiple clinical and laboratory findings, not this test alone.
