Melanoma Antibody, HMB45 by Immunohistochemistry (Red Detection)
Also known as: HMB45R IHC
Use
The Melanoma Antibody, HMB45 by Immunohistochemistry (Red Detection) test is used to detect human melanoma black-45 protein expressed in melanocytic tumors. It serves as a useful marker for the diagnosis and evaluation of melanoma, aiding in the differentiation between melanoma and other tumors. This test helps clinicians identify melanoma cells in tissue samples, thus providing critical information for treatment planning and prognostic assessment.
