Use
The Immune Cell Function assay evaluates the functional activity of immune cells in patients, specifically those undergoing transplantation, to assess immune competence or dysfunction. It is restricted to transplant patients and is used to help guide clinical decisions in the transplant setting.

Limitations
Specimens received past the 30‑hour room‑temperature stability window are rejected. Refrigeration or freezing of specimens is unacceptable. The test is limited to transplant patients and requires careful timing of collection and delivery.
