Keratin 903 (K903) High Molecular Weight by Immunohistochemistry
Also known as: K903 IHC
Use
This test provides immunohistochemical staining for high molecular weight cytokeratins (Keratin 903, also known as CK903), which assists in identifying squamous or basal epithelial differentiation through detection of high-molecular-weight keratin expression; it serves as a technical 'stain and return' service to support histopathologic evaluation.
Special Instructions
Submit via electronic request or, if electronic ordering is unavailable, use ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Form (#32978) with an ARUP client number. This is a technical service only; performed Monday through Friday as a stain and return service.
