Melan A by Immunohistochemistry (Red Detection)
Also known as: MELA R IHC
Use
Melan A by Immunohistochemistry (Red Detection) is used for the identification of melan A expression, which is a marker for melanocytic tumors such as melanoma. This test is often used in conjunction with other immunohistochemical stains to provide diagnostic clarity in determining the origin of melanocytic lesions. Detection of melan A helps differentiate between melanocytic and non-melanocytic tumors.
