Menorrhagia Screen without Consultation
Use
This panel includes a series of coagulation tests—activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), prothrombin time with INR, Factor XI activity, von Willebrand factor antigen, ristocetin cofactor activity, and Factor VIII activity—to evaluate potential bleeding disorders in individuals with heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia). It is identical to the “Menorrhagia Screen with Consultation” except that it excludes a coagulation consultation.
