Use
This PCR-based assay evaluates T-cell clonality as part of the diagnostic work-up of specimens containing atypical T‑cell populations. It can be used as a stand-alone test, particularly when prior TCR‑gamma gene rearrangement results are inconclusive or inconsistent morphologically or clinically, and additional testing is desired. Combining analysis for TCRG and TCRB gene rearrangements may improve diagnostic sensitivity in T‑cell proliferative disorders.
Special Instructions
Insurance authorization is required prior to draw for outpatients. It is acceptable on inpatients without prior authorization.
