Hepatitis BE Antibody
Also known as: HBe Antibody, Anti-Hepatitis Be
Use
HBeAb (Hepatitis B e Antibody) appears in the early convalescence phase of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. Its presence typically indicates a transition toward recovery or lower infectivity; in chronic hepatitis or carrier states, HBeAb may not develop. Thus, detection of HBeAb can help evaluate the stage of HBV infection and assess infectivity status.
